I normally pay around 2.29 for the Bic and did not know there was another 4 color pen out there until I saw this while browsing on Amazon. I have been using these for about a month now, and can say it is a good pen and serves the purpose I wanted, and that is to keep up with my checkbook. I use the red ink for checking off everything that has cleared when I balance, and green for all deposits. The black and blue I use for writing checks, and recording entries. I also use the black when I notarize documents. On this pen I don't like the green ink as much as the Bic, it seems a little pale, other than that the other colors are fine. I really like the cushion grip, the BIC doesn't have that. I would like to find a source for RED ink pen refills in general as well as green, I can't seem to find any, only black & blue. It seems wasteful to throw away a pen and buy another just... Read more

But I bought three and two of them already got broken open on the surface. In addition, the green color doesn't write that well as other three colors.
